About Me!

Logan VanDyke

I first gained an interest in computers from my brother when I was 8 years old. He introduced me to a computer game he had found. I loved it! From then on I have wanted to explore computers more and more, learning as much about them as I can. My first experience with code was my brother showing me the command line on my computer and how I could use it to make exploring my computer easier. Having the knowledge to know how a game or app is created and being able to recreate it in my own way has always been a goal for me. I plan to keep learning until I reach that goal and start to create my own programs. So far in my career I have attended three computer science high school classes, and Interned at Nextech in indianapolis. I have a set idea for what I want to do in my future and I am going to learn for that future fast because I want to get a head start on beinging my future.

My Hobbies!

M y main hobby is playing baseball at Beech Grove High School. I started playing baseball at around 4 years old. I play center, and sometimes catcher for my team, and I love playing the game. I would say my favorite part of baseball is working with my team to try and win. I am also a huge computer geek! I love playing computer games and finding new ones to play and figure out how they work. I build my first computer in mid 2015 with a little bit of help from my brother. I built it with seperate parts to get the best computer I could buy. I also love taking my own pictures. My sister is a photographer and I often steal her camera to take my own pictures. The one above is a piture I took just for this portfolio. I took this while at my grandparents, I used to swim in this river when I was younger, and I always loved how it looked.
